Bronx International to partner with Slovak company Kovozink
Long-term negotiations have resulted in a mutual agreement between Sydney-based Bronx International and Kovozink in Dobsina, Slovakia.
Kovozink will build a new zinc-galvanizing line for which it has purchased technology from Bronx International. The value of this transaction is $21.5 million and represents the third biggest Slovak-Australian business cooperation in Slovakia.
The new factory will create 50 jobs, which is significant for this part of Slovakia , where the unemployment rate is high.
Mutual benefits of the agreement include a well-educated workforce in a prime, central geographical location in Eastern Slovakia , with savings on transport. Bronx International will also be more competitive when bidding for further projects in the Commonwealth of Independent States and in southern and Eastern Europe.
